For
video
projector hire Edinburgh, data
projection equipment rentals, powerpoint presentation projectors and
multimedia and audio-visual equipment rentals then Edinburgh Projector
Hire should be your first port of call. Our hire stock of professional
video projectors is made up of professional grade SVGA & XGA data
and video projectors from reputable manufacturers such as Mitsubishi,
Phillips & Hitachi. These projectors are suitable for a wide range
of user applications, for example, in conjunction with a laptop / notebook
computer (PC, or MAC work fine, Linux too can be used) to present a
Powerpoint (similar) presentation / slideshow. Our hire stock of video
projectors are simple to use and have an input autodetect facility so
it really is as simple as plug in and play. Clients often wish to show
VHS cassettes or DVDs with pre-prepared footage or films. Again, this
is very simple to achieve and in addition to our video projector hire
stock in Edinburgh we have a wide range of useful accessories which
our customers often ask for. To enable perfect projector placement,
the unit should be placed twice the distance back from the screen as
the image is wide, so for a 4 foot wide image, the projector should
be 8 feet back, with the bottom of the screen & projector lens in
alignment. This will give a rectangular image. If optimal placement
is not possible, then our projectors offer digital keystone (vertical
only on the SVGA projectors, vertical & horizontal on the XGA units).
Horizontal keystone allows for the data / multimedia projector to be
placed off centre, as ideally it should be placed at 90 degrees to the
center fo the screen. Digital keystone is useful, but if possible, we
advise users to try and ensure optimum placement as there is a slight
loss of quality when using this function.
Obviously,
we stock a wide range of projector screens, the most common & simple
to use is the tripod screen which comes in four, five, or six foot sizes.
we have toblerone pull-down type screens which must be hung from somthing,
and can then be pulled down when required, again we have four, five
& six foot screens in our hire stock. The final multimedia screen
we have in stock is the fast fold screen which are often used at large
events - these are free standing (or hanging) and come in the four,
five & six foot sizes. Genrally we would not recommend that customers
use these in a "dry hire" situation if they are unfamiliar
with their usage as they can appear fairly complicated to assemble when
first encountered. Our staff will be happy to advise you on what will
work for your presentational requirements and our technicians can be
on-site if required to assist with projector / screen / player setup.
In
addition to our range of screens & video projectors, we have a range
of players, VHS, DVD, VHS/DVD combi players & portable DVD players
(with small sceen). We have hi-rez colour CCTV cameras which can be
either weatherproofed for external use. We hire audiovisual multiplier
/ distribution amps allowing the use of multiple projectors from one
source. We rent out video selector / autoswitchers (Ganz Quad), and
audio/video special effects processors. Our rental department has a
full stock of cables & adapters of all sorts (S-video, composite
video, scart, VGA, etc) to allow connection of all our equipment - Usually
we will supply appropriate cables free of charge with a hire, although
for some jobs with particularly heavy requirements there will be a charge
incurred. We will supply appropriate mains cables on the same basis.
Most
modern projectors are not equipped with speakers of any note - they
are roughly comparable to those found on a laptop computer so for multimedia
powerpoint presentations & other applications requiring audio playback
external speakers are required. For smaller events (ie boardroom situations)
we often find that a set of powered PC speakers will do the job amply
with minimal extra cost. For larger situations we have various sound
systems available ranging from hi-fi size systems through to 3k rigs
& beyond (any size can be catered for and we would would be happy
to advise as to what we think is necessary).
As
well as offering video projector hire in Edinburgh, we do offer a range
of other ancillary services, such as DVD authoring & short run CD
& DVD duplication. Our clients often use a projector & DVD player,
with an endless looping DVD showing corporate logos combined with appropraite
film footage. These can also be set to autoplay on insertion, with all
menu options disabled, minimising potential interference. Our DVDs &
CDs are supplied with full colour on body print, jewel cases and full
colour inserts (as appropriate) to ensure a professional looking product.
We have found that these are very useful promotional DVDs and the beauty
is that they can be updated on an event specific basis, retaining the
common parts. Our in-house artworks department will be happy to help
with the creation of a suitable DVD utilising your logo, which (most
importantly) will look great when projected.
We
have an extensive range of custom gobo (logo) projection equipment and
can assist you with logo creation as required. We have Optinkinetics
Solar 250's and 575's which take standard slides (we can create these
for you from your artwork) and with the use of accessories can provide
a rotating or sweeping image. For more complex jobs we can provide the
Martin Imagescan which is a fully programmable logo projector allowing
for complex rotation, panning & scanning. We can provide stands
for all our projectors & technicians to set them up if required.
Please give us a call on 0131 558 3824 to discuss any projector hire
