PHOTOGRAPHS FROM SILENT SHAKESPEARE (GLOBE THEATRE, LONDON 2007)
This page of photographs is from the following event which took place at The Globe Theatre, London in April 2007.
SILENT SHAKESPEARE, with a new score by LAURA ROSSI
Essentially the job was to project a series of short, silent interpretations of Shakepeares works from the very earliest days of cinema. These had been transferred to digibeta and were accompanied by a live string quartet performing an original score by Laura Rossi.
There were two projectors in use which were on opposite sides of the theatre, both running from the same tape. The "screen" area was approxiamately 5 metres across and was chosen by the clients (the projectors we used on this job we have had up to 23 metres across).
